Best tacos in the Tri-Cities. I have been told their other food is good as well. However, I can't get over the authentic Mexican style tacos!

Had steak with nachos for the lunch special and it was delicious! I can't wait to come back and see what else they have!

If you are looking for great Mexican, this is the place! Every single bite was amazing! I had the lunch fajitas with chicken & shrimp and they were so good!! The guac is so good! The staff was super friendly. Restaurant was very clean. The outside doesn't look like much, but I promise you will not regret it if you give it a try!!

As an out of towner visiting the area, we were brought here for dinner. A busy little food truck turned stationary location, it took a little bit for the food to arrive but it was well worth the wait. My husband had a variety of tacos 'american' style which he said were excellent. The all beef taco is actually real steak and not ground beef. The pork carnitas were flavorful and not dry. I had the pollo loco special and holy cow. Its a ton of food and I would eat it again in a heart beat. Chicken and spices and cheese and beans and rice oh my.

One of my most favorite places to eat. If you want authentic food and wonderful people....Than This is the best place to visit!

I moved to Tennessee from Arizona. If you don't already know, Arizona is known for its mexican restaurants. Tennessee is known for everything but authentic mexican food. HOWEVER, this GEM, this hole in the wall place right here, IS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD YOU WILL FIND IN THE TRI CITIES. Best of all the prices of the food is reasonable. Just go and see for yourself.

Tried this place for dinner today and everything was delicious. The service was great despite them being busy. Fantastic little hidden gem.

I'm from Maine and this is the best Mexican I've had on the East Coast. Their tacos are great. Try the marinated pork tacos. Their refried beans are the best I've ever had

Huarache was delicious! We walked in right before closing and the staff had no problem serving us. Nice find of authentic Mexican while visiting Kingsport!

Hands down the best tacos you will get short of hopping on a plane flying across the border. Nice and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone to eat. The tacos are loaded with meat like bill gates is loaded with money. The salsa that you get is thicker than most of the other Mexican restaurants where it's thin as water. So if you ever find yourself in search of a great taco while just pulling into El loco taco and try theirs you will not be disappointed. If you find yourself a little more on the adventurous side try the beef tongue taco it's not too bad. I would recommend the chicken and Mexican sausage taco the perfect blend of spices. It is delicious.

Friend recommended stopping here. Had fajita salad, shrimp taco, and chicken burrito. Salad was too liquidy, but still very good. Loved the rest. Great prices too.

While visiting family we had lunch here. My daughter-law told us the tacos and fajitas were great. I wouldn’t know about the tacos because all 3 couples ordered the fajitas. They bring them out in a big lava bowl and they are excellent. We started off with a large order of guacamole and it’s the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Busy place and lots of locals eat there. Can’t wait to go back and try the tacos.

The best Mexican food around. Portion sizes are unbelievable. My mom gets 2 complete meals out of every order. 1.5 for me and a snack the next day for my husband. Huge plates filled with delicious food. We've been many times and it's always great. This was my moms quesadilla fajita tonight.

A great place for the money and food quality. I've ate here 3 times already and I have to say the food has always been great. Always fresh and never over cooked like a lot of other places I've been to. I recommend it to anyone wanting great Mexican food that isn't a chain.

Me and my husband eat here often and the service is outstanding. The food is amazing, and we would reccomend everyone try it. We absolutely love it. The server remembers our order every time we go.

Authentic tacos are found here and they are delicious! Anything they prepare is awesome. Tripa, Lingua, Barbacoa, Chorizo, Pescado......any of their tacos are wonderful. They do not serve alcohol but you may BYOB so plan accordingly and give them a try!!!They're closed on Mondays like most other restaurants.

El Loco Taco is one of those places you always drive by without a thought, but I'd recommend taking the time to stop. I had their chicken and beef tacos and was very pleased. The service was friendly, quick, and the meal was very affordable. I will be making more trips back here for some delicious tacos!

In my opinion, no one in the tri cities area does mexican food better. Awesome service and decent prices. What more could you want.

I'm a map editor for Waze and someone had added this as a new place so I went through my process of adding it and I started reading all the reviews on Google maps and they have like a 4.7 there was hardly any bad reviews just very few out of 450. So we had to drive up to Kingsport this weekend and decided to have lunch here these were the best tacos I've probably had outside of Texas it's a little hole in the wall but it's well worth it. Make sure and get your tacos Mexican style and not with the American hard shell.

Food was absolutely excellent 5 stars there, but service was not the best. He might have been just having a bad day but he just seemed angry we were there. He wasn't happy about giving us refills took forever for him to take our order. Made us feel like we needed to hurry and he didn't have time for us.
